Léo Major is a real Québécois hero that is just incredibly bad-ass.

He started his war hero career during Normandy landing. Some of his actions :
-Captured 93 Nazis without help.
-Freed the city of Zwolle, alone, armed with 2 guns and a LOT of grenades. This is a 60k people city and it was filled with enemies (you can read some of it on [link])
-Refused to stay at the hospital even if he had numerous fractures. He wanted to get back on fighting
-During Korean war with the help of a small troop of badass french-canadians, he stood his ground against 14k Chinese to block their assault. This Chinese troops had successfully pushed out American soldier (10k of them) but where unable to force Léo to retreat
-During all of this he wore an eye-patch because one of his eye got burned by a grenade.
-He always stayed proud and fierce against hostile English-canadians officers.

From wikipédia : He was one of only three Canadian soldiers in the British Commonwealth to be awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM), the only Canadian to have been awarded the honour twice (bar to the DCM), and the only Allied soldier to be awarded two DCMs in two different wars (World War II and Korea).
